Elizabeth Wilson is the Vice President of Economic Development for the COGIC Urban Initiatives. She is a true expert in low- and moderate- community economic development. She has provided professional leadership and training in the development of nonprofit services and management including program design, project planning, development budgeting, staff recruitment, marketing and fundraising in her various positions. She has a strong knowledge of urban, economic, and small business development, and has done a tremendous job in community development in Georgia and across the country. Ms Wilson has assisted hundreds of organizations across the country to develop microenterprise programs and technology centers. She has also helped thousands of low- and moderate-income individuals in developing small businesses and reaching self-sufficiency. She is the author of several books including, When Life Gives You Lemons, Open a Lemonade Stand, Young, Gifted & Entrepreneurs and her newest release, Growing Up COGIC . She continues to be actively involved in her community and beyond by making presentations to community organizations, coalitions, churches, and associations, and providing consulting services to international economic development organizations. Ms Wilson is a member of Cathedral of Faith Church of God In Christ in Atlanta, GA where she has been active in ministry for over 20 years. She is married to Brother CW Wilson. Her call is to help build the body of Christ by empowering others through biblical and practical teachings, trainings and example.
